Aquatic Spaces

The RPAC Aquatic Center is home to the Bill and Mae McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion and the Recreation Natatorium. The McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion was built to host large scale aquatic competitions. The facility features a 50-meter competitive pool, diving well with platform and springboard diving, seating for 1,400, and locker and training rooms. The Recreation Natatorium features a class pool with a moveable floor, lap swimming pool, leisure pool, and whirlpool spa. Let our event staff help you plan your next aquatic event.

About the Bill and Mae McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion

Dedicated October 14, 2005, the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion is the newest addition to Ohio State's top-notch athletic facilities. The Pavilion consists of the Mike Peppe Natatorium and the Ron O'Brien Diving Well. Holding nearly 1.56 million gallons of water in the entire facility, the Pavilion is part of Ohio State's Recreation and Physical Activity Center (RPAC). The McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion has already hosted numerous championship competitions, including:

  • Collegiate Synchronized Swimming Nationals 
  • Women's NCAA Championships
  • NCAA Zone C Diving Championships 
  • Women's Big Ten Championships (Feb. 21-23)
  • World Cup Selection Camp of Diving

  • Peppe/Bruce Invitational
  • International Diving Invitational
