Meet our Massage Therapists

Michael Moore, LMT, NCTMB has been with us at the RPAC since January of 2007.

Mike is a 2003 graduate of the Ohio State University with a BS in interdisciplinary studies combining human physiology, motor control and learning, and cultural studies in movement.

He completed his foundational training in Massage Therapy in 2005 at Columbus State Community College and went on to complete advanced training in neuromuscular, fascial release, positional release, and muscle energy techniques with Timberlake Massage Therapies.

In addition to stress relief and injury management approaches, Mike specializes in combining targeted fascial, neuromuscular, and Swedish techniques for thorough and yet gentle pain relief.

-Licensed Massage Therapist, State Medical Board of Ohio, from January 2006
-Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, from August 2007
-NSCA Strength and Conditioning Specialist, from November 2004
-American Massage Therapy Association Professional Member, from January 2006

Carol Spruance is a 1999 graduate of the American Institute of Alternative Medicine, licensed with the State Medical Board of Ohio and a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.

Her training includes Swedish massage (what most people think of when they think of massage) the aim is to relax, relieve stress and improve circulation. Esalen massage, which includes long nurturing strokes, to connect mind and body.  Trigger point, a trigger point is an area of muscle tissue that is hypercontracted (a knot); the therapist applies pressure on this point to relax the entire muscle. Deep tissue massage, this is massaging deep into tissues. Sports massage a sensible blend of swedish, trigger point, myofasical release and stretching to realign muscle fibers.
