Group Fitness

Our leaders understand that group fitness should be a fun, challenging and competition free. If you are new to working out, a veteran exerciser or just getting back into shape, group fitness is an excellent choice! 


The Autumn group fitness schedule is coming soon!

*Group fitness classes will not be held August 8-24

*There will be no group fitness classes during the following dates and times during Fall Semester

after 3:30 p.m. on 9/4

all day 9/5 and 9/6

before 3 p.m. on 9/7

all day 10/15, 10/16, 10/17 or before 3:30 p.m. on 10/18 

after 4 p.m. on 11/25

all day 11/26, 11/27, 11/28 or before 3:30 p.m. on 11/29

All classes are first-come, first-served. Limitations are based on room size and/or equipment availability. Cycling classes are limited to 40 participants per session. Indo-Row® classes are limited to 36 participants per session, while TRX® classes are limited to 18.  

NEW! WERQ® - WERQ® is a fiercely fun dance fitness workout to your favorite pop, rock and hip-hop music. The warm-up previews the dance steps that will be used in the class and the cool down includes balance and yoga-inspired poses. Everything in between is just pure fun! Are you ready to WERQ®?

Getting Started 

All group fitness classes on the regular group fitness schedule are FREE for all Rec Sports members, including students paying the dedicated fee. You must activate your BuckID before attending your first fitness class. 

When You Get to Class

Have your BuckID before you enter class. You will not be allowed to enter without it. 

In the event of a scanner or computer malfunction, participants will be searched for by last name to verify IDs and/or a waiver must be signed.
