Demonstration Cooking Kitchen Reservations

A group should request the Demonstration Cooking Kitchen two weeks (minimum) in advance of event so usage can be coordinated with Campus Dining Services (CDS) and food can be ordered.

Reservation Process:

1. Group reserves the Demonstration Cooking Kitchen through Recreational Sports facility scheduling.  Reservations can be made online.When the reserving group receives their confirmation, they then contact Campus Dining Services (contact information will be provided on the confirmation form).
2. CDS representative meets with reserving group to determine the menu (select from pre-determined options or create a menu).
3. CDS orders food (reserving group pays for food, personnel to assist or demonstrate and rental of space, if a rental rate applies).  The reserving group needs to provide Campus Dining Service with an exact headcount 48 hours in advance of the event.
4. The reserving group can pay for the food and technical assistance/demonstration by 100W or a check made payable to Ohio State University.  Payment is due at the time of the demonstration.  Instructions on payment of rental fees, if applicable, will accompany the facility confirmation the reserving group receives from Recreational Sports.
5. CDS makes the menu available via e-mail for class participants.
