Backpacking at Mount Rodgers National Recreation Area, Virginia

Explore one of the most memorable parts of the Appalachian Trail with the Outdoor Adventure Center at Mount Rodgers National Recreation Area, Virginia, May 4 - 6 or May 25 - 28. While backpacking through this unique destination, you will see wild ponies, fir and spruce forests, and open vistas. Cost for the May 4 - 6 trip is $175, and the May 25 - 28 trip is $235. Summer Lifeguard Training

Become a lifeguard! Classes will meet Thursday, June 7 - Sunday, June 10, from 6 - 9 p.m. on Thursday, 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and noon - 7 p.m. on Sunday. Registration opens Monday, May 7. The fee is $150 for members and $200 for non-members. Learn more.
